Error 922

On one of our database servers, when going into DBACCESS, we get - 922: Cannot get name of current working directory. I checked the main directories, $INFORMIXDIR, and the basic subdirectories, and all SEEMS fine. Any ideas what to look for ? Version 12.10.FC9W1 AIX 1 6 00CC96664C00
