Inserting BLOB data with OLEDB

Can anyone be successful in inserting BLOB data into an Informix database using OLEDB. I use the OLEDB Provider for ODBC drivers and Informix ODBC driver 3.31 combination. I get to a point that the OLEDB Provider for ODBC driver gives me the following error. "Query based Insertion or Updating of BLOB can not be supported" I can't even get close to this by using the Informix OLDEB provider driver. Can anyone help. There was a problem in a previous version of the informix OLEDB driver which made BLOB inserts impossible. Informix actually admitted to this bug. It is solved in the 2.10 version of ifxoledbc.dll. This version of th OLEDB driver ships with the 2.40 Informix Client SDK.
