me too would love to test this, but:
this is an ordinary PC (although consisting of hand selected
parts in the context of a project) and there is only space
for 9 disks :(
4 disks build the RAID10
4+1 spare the 4 disk RAID5
Maybe with serial ATA I can add some sort of cabinet.
The 3 ware ESCALADE controllers actually can support
8 disks each, both types serail or parallel ATA 133.
The latter ones I have now sitting in there.
