Can I use a NT version of IECC to control a Linux version of IDS ? If it is possible, can IECC be bought individually ? Thanks, Mat
You can download a NT IDS trial version and play with it. I'm not currently using IECC (my boss thinks GUI is unmanly), but from what I've read, it should work. I don't know about the seperate purchase availability. ;-{> On Thu, 11 Feb 1999 16:10:40 +0000, Mathieu Guillaume <mat@cythere.com> wrote: > >Can I use a NT version of IECC to control a Linux version of IDS ? >If it is possible, can IECC be bought individually ? > >Thanks, > > Mat
The answer is in fact no. IDS-LE does not ship the server agent, so even if you were able to get hold of an IECC binary, it wouldn't be able to connect to (or even detect, for that matter) the engine.
