Prevent MS-Access from ODBC to DB?

Apparently users on our net are able to connect to the database via MS-Access and ODBC. Is there a way to disallow access but still allow Newera applications to connect?
What version of IDS are you running?
You could set a role within your NE applications that can RW to the
database. Make the default connections have no perms to the DB. Those
MS-access folks would have to know what role to set. So guard that
information closely.
You could also make a cron job that onmode -z's ms access connections.
Very militant, but effective:)
