Problems with dbaccess...

Hi,
I have downloaded a copy of the Informix Online
Workgroup Server (as part of the Netscape LiveWire
package). After installing everything, I am now
attempting to use dbaccess to create and populate
a database. However, all attempts to do so cause
the dbaccess daemon to hang after selecting the
create-new-database option.
LiveWire comes with a demo (which I have not been
able to get working either) and a sample database.
The sample database is created, but not able to be
populated (reason unknown). However, I can use
dbaccess to connect to the sample database, see
the structure of the tables in the database (using
the Info option), make queries to select data from
the database (which is empty, so the query returns
No rows found, as expected), but if I attempt to
enter information into the database, dbaccess
hangs. My SQL statements are structured properly,
but do not succeed because of the hang.
One last thing... I did get ONE insert to complete
successfully. All other attempts result in a
hang.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be
occurring? I would think that I have a problem
with the configuration, but I did get one insert
to complete successfully, and all selects complete
as well. I am running on a Sparc 20 under Solaris
2.5. Any assistance would be VERY much
appreciated.
Thanks,
Eric Lacey
