I have one table that has its indexes in a separate dbspace. I cannot find
anywhere in the documentation that says I can allocate extents to an index.
Does anyone know if there is a reason as to why I cannot? 7.24UC3.

Please do not post MIME or HTML messages.
Yes, I know. Informix sizes the extents of a detached index based on
the ratio of the keylength to the rowsize times the extent and next
sizes. This ensures that roughly the same number of keys are in an
index extent as there are rows in a data extent. Many have asked for
independent index extent sizing with the current scheme as the default.
