Falling back from 7.23 to 7.14

If anyone out there has performed a migration from Informix 7.14 to 7.23 and had to fall back, I would like to discuss any problems that you might have encountered. I am particularly interested in finding out just what structural changes happen to the sysmaster database during a migration and whether falling back is a simple matter of pointing the instance back to the 7.14 environment. The reason we are considering falling back to 7.14 is, we have found resource use to be somewhat greater with 7.23. We are in the process of tuning kernel parameters where we can, however until we have sufficient resources to handle the new load, we are proceding with caution.
