Waits cond wait netnorm and IO Wait

Hi IIUG
First of all i would like to say that the work that is done here is very good
and with quality.
I started with database Informix 4 mounths ago and i have a few questions:
I would like to know which are the waits and latchs that most affect my
database.
I'm using the command "onstat -g ath" and had in return many "cond wait
netnorm" and a "IO Wait" in user proceses.
Besides a few "sleeping forever" on the processes of Listener on the database.
My question is: what are these Waits? which is the correct way to collect
them? Where can i find documentation about them?
Enviroment: SUN Solaris
Informix 11.50.FC4
Best regards
Luciano
Netnorm is the engine waiting for the user to enter a request. Could be
between SQL or waiting for a FETCH on an open cursor.
Iowait is waiting for the asynchronous IO mechanisms to return data.
Sleeping forever happens when a Netnorm wait condition lasts a long time.
The thread suspends itself and waits to be awakened by one of the listener
threads.

Is there a possibility that I collect this data through SQL, thus making an automatic trace waits to acquire these in my environment. Where do I find more information about waits and latchs?
This has already been done for you. Currently IDS will sample every 4 hours and keep the information for 7 days the user on the system and store their statistics in a table. The table is in the sysadmin database in a table called mon_users. The wait reason is stored in a column called wreason. If you want to change the sample rate or how long the information is stored you can use OAT (www.openadmintool.org). or update the sysadmin database ph_task table directly. John F.
