logsearch() and logread() - critical problems

Hi, we are in middle of process of solving Y2k, we came from HP-UX 9.04 to HP-UX 10.20 with OnLine 5.02 and in a few month we will migrate to 7.x. But we have serious problems now, three times in a half of year Online crashed with errors "logsearch()" and "logread() failed". Restore with logs was unsuccesfull, we only get error messages during processing logs ... It seems (some ? all ? of) logical logs are not correctly saved to DISC and then also with same problem copied to tape. Tblog does not say anything wrong about the log tapes. We had to restore only level 0, only a 12 hours old one, but we work in hospital -> _very_ unpleasant data loss, with 12 hours off line time (we tried to restore 7 GB database 4 times) :-((( Has anybody any idea what happens ?? Can be there such uncompatibility in HP-UX versions ?
