So, migrate using :
ontape backup on Solaris under 9.21
Install 9.21 on new Solaris box
Restore under 9.21
Do in-place migration to (imminent) 11.50.xC2 (suggestion)
Hmmm ... hopefully a complete set of symbolic links is in place for all the chunks to ease re-location as BOUND do be different.
Hmmm ... will 9.21 work under the "latest" Solaris - presumably this would be Solaris 10.
Myself, I would probably suggest using hpl to remote pipes if speed really is of the essence.
That way a complete, nice, new, non-migrated instance
