It is trivial to write a shell script to perform this task: mv schema_filename old_schema_filename dbschema -d dbname schema_filename diff schema_filename old_schema_filename | mail yourname It may not be trivial to manage a database where just anyone can make schema changes on a daily basis, especially without you! Have you some special requirement for this? We try to let the DBA make all these changes, as altering a table can have dire consequences if done wrong.
