Look for the last row in your ixbar file of type 'L'. Ben.
Hi Ben, Thank you, for your answer.But, could you please tell me how I can get it in an environment variable through a shell script reading ixbar file ? Best Regards,Henri M. Hi,
Something like this. I am using "tail -50000" because ixbar files can get very
large.
SERVERNUM=`onstat -c | grep ^SERVERNUM | awk '{print $2}'`
LASTLOGBACKEDUP=`tail -50000 $INFORMIXDIR/etc/ixbar.$SERVERNUM | grep ' L' |
tail -1 | awk '{print $2}'`
Ben.
Hi Ben,
Thank you very much !I'm going to try it for implementation.
Best Regards,Henri M.
