Zep. update tableB set (tableB.filedA) = ((SELECT tableA.fieldA FROM tableA WHRE tableA.fieldB = tableB.fieldB)) WHERE tableB.fieldB IN (SELECT fieldB FROM tableA) I didn't test it but it should work.
