If you have read my original answer you should have noticed
that the first sentence is a warning:
You can do that, but it is NOT RECOMMENDED !

and that is because you could mess up your instances.
But if you know what you are doing and you want that
you can wrap oninit/onmode/ontape/onstat ...
in shell scripts for every instance.
(to cd to the right directory, set environment, etc.)
Anyway, I'm glad Rudy liked my staff, as I liked
his staff so many times in the past.
