Q. about istar on ifx5 and ifx7

Hi friends , I need help about the configuration of istar link , and i can not get information from informix documents , My question is i have a db called db01 at DBSERVERNAME tom(ifx 5) on machine A , I have another env of ifx 7 on machine B , How can i configure so that I can read data in db01 when i login ifx 7 on machine B , My config is : Host A : /etc/services star_a_b 8888/tcp Host A : $IFX5DIR/etc/sqlhosts jack tcp nameofA star_a_b Host A : $IFX5DIR/lib/sqlexecd star_a_b Host A : add an entry in /etc/passwd Host B : $IFX7DIR/etc/sqlhosts jack onsoctcp nameofB star_a_b Host B : /etc/services star_a_b 8888/tcp Host B : add nameofA to /etc/hosts.equiv But after i login to B and isql -s db01@jack system me error of 529 and error 22 Thanks in advance JianJun (jjdai@pek-co.cn.dhl.com) -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
