Re: error message in online log
Just a guess:
Take a look at your NETTYPE parameter in your $ONCONFIG.
Make sure that you run any ipcshm connections in CPU VP class, and any
soctcp connections in NET VP class.
-25587 means a system call has failed. Search this newsgroup at
http://x22.deja.com/home_ps.shtml
for "NETTYPE" for more info. Art Kagel has posted some very
interesting reading
re: how putting soctcp n/w connects in CPU VP class will result in the
main CPU VP polling the n/w connection continuously and generating LOTS
of system calls.
