Hello When I SELECT a string from Informix with ADO, I always receive trailing spaces, so I always need to TRIM() the received string. Is there a way to automatically remove the trailing space for strings ? -- Eric Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
Use 'varchar' instead of 'char' in your db-chema and no problems! Or use SELECT TRIM(BOTH FROM column_name),..... And your recordset contains no Leading or Trailing spaces. In article <8tu8av$66u1@www.informix.com>, "Sergey E.
