WebObjects and Informix

Hello: I'm trying to use WebObjects application server on Windows NT to connect to an Informix database. Reading from the database is fine, but whenever I try to update an existing record, I get this error: NSInternalInconsistencyException exception occurred while handling request: NSInternalInconsistencyException: Exception occured while evaluating 'saveChanges', on target:<Main 0xb0c480>: beginTransaction -- InformixContext 0xaeeab0: Unable to begin transaction Can anyone tell me what I am doing incorrectly? -thanks Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Is there any data integrity you are not aware off ? Is there any locks on the records that are not cleared? Have you tried update statistics from dbaccess? It would pay off to give more information about the Informix database version, your application and whether you are trying to access and write data to an existing database which has been created by and in use of another program.
