ADO with IDS SPL

OK I give up, can anyone help with using ADODB recordset with informix stored procedures and getting any meaningful information back. I am still unable to get a recordset back with any column names other than (expression) when using a stored procedure. If I execute direct SQL statements of work directly with a table, no problems, all field information is there. execute a SP and no column/field names. Any help at all?
