Re: Temp Table Space Gobbled Up
It appears to me that there must be something non-temporary in rootdbs.
If the tables are "temporary" they are released when the engine which
creates them closes down. The only time that this would not happen is if
the engine crashes, or is killed with a kill -9.
Try shutting down your OnLine system, and restarteing it from tbinit.
That should free up all temporary space.
The only other causes are:-
Database created with no IN clause.
Table created witn IN ROOTDBS.
The first is more likely, but I have actually seen the second in a
third-party development!!!
