RE: Level - 0 Restore problems
I think restoring a level 0 from one machine to another is a perfectly
legitimate situation. What better free tools come with IDS and
why are they better? For someone who just owns IDS ontape
seems ideal for getting the database onto another system.
To me restoring to another machine using your backup strategy is also
a good exercise for what action will have to be taken if your machine
goes up in smoke.
Maybe the newbie will learn a bit of how IDS works.
