If you have a recent version of the Database Engine (5.0 or higher), you can make a Stored Procedure. It is part of the database, not any of the tools. See the Informix Guide to SQL manuals that should have come with the database engine for details. Don't get confused with the manuals that comes with the ISQL tools, entitled INFORMIX-SQL.
