Default Domain

Is there a way to set a default domain for all of the Informix tools? We have 3 servers that participate with a trusting relationship with two separate NT Domains. We only have users defined in a single domain.(domain1). When using the tools (SQLEditor, DBAccess) , from domain2, the users must sign in with domain1\\username. Can we set a registry flag that will enable the system to always validate users on domain1, without having them manually type in the domain name before their userid?
