I have a db that has several views (virtual tables) set up. How do I find out what the SQL statment is that created the view? Can I edit this or do I have to drop the table and set it up again? Informix version is 7.20.UE2 Regards Martyn

select a.tabname, b.seqno , b.viewtext
from systables a, sysviews b
where a.tabid = b.tabid
and a.tabid > 99
order by 1, 2
it gives you all your views text; you can filter it by view name
flavio gattari
