Hi, Is there any particular need for the { } characters in the SQL? An alternative option would be to use the OpenLink driver, where you can have it execute any native SQL at connect time automatically - typically used for setting locking modes in Informix. OpenLink are available from http://www.openlinksw.co.uk/ for free evaluation download.
