se uc8 for linux

Hello, I've read on dejanews that there exists something like a Linux Informix SE 7.24 UC8 (uc8 not uc5). Does UC8 have support pipes or shared memory or unix domain sockets or some other form of IPC other than sesoctcp ? Is UC8 compatible with c-isam 7.24uc5 ? Thank you,

I don't know about the compatibility issue. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
