I'm not really sure that ESQL/C is all you need to access an SE database
with dbaccess. However, it's worth a try.
With Informix SE, a "database" is really a directory with the name
<databasename>.dbs which contains all the .dat and .idx files. Header
files (.h) have nothing to do with the database itself.
So put all the .dat and .idx files into a directory called <databasename>.dbs,
set DBPATH to the directory where the database directory resides (NOT tothe database directory itself!) and try again. Don't forget to set your
INFORMIXDIR to the directory where you installed your ESQL/C.
