Hi there we have recently updated from a sco unix system to a windows NT system, and we had a few lines of code that would send information to a selected printer and display them in a certain way by using escape codes. Now things are a little different from printing on SCO to NT as most of you will already know. Now I have adopted the method of START REPORT TO "pl_pay.out" and then after the finish report I have put RUN "lpr -S 126.100.0.70 -P Tally pl_pay.out". This returns an error saying "print server not ready, print aborted". So I had a look at the directory and found that pl_pay.out had been created but there was nothing within it. So has anyone ever come across this, if so how did they solve it? Is there something I am doing wrong should there be something being put in either the report function or in between the line of START REPORT and the RUN lpr statement. Any feedback would be greatfully recieved. Many thanks in advance, Scott Edwards ************************ ScottEdwards@reidsteel.co.uk John Reid & Sons ************************
