I think I have the setnet32 utility configured correctly. The service name is 'sqlexec'. When using the following in the VB code I get the error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]Datasource name not found and no default driver specified. .ConnectionString = "Provider=MSDASQL; DRIVER={INFORMIX 3.82 32 BIT}; " _ & "DB=databasename; HOST=sql_dev; " _ & "SRVR=ONLINE; SERV=sqlexec; PRO=onsoctcp; " _ & "UID=username; " _ & "PWD=password; " This would be my preferred method of connection if I can get it to work. I am using the latest Informix Connect. Thanks for the help. - Phil

I think this style of connect string doesn't require any setup in setnet32.
