I'm rather hesitant to fiddle with tablenames. Why don't you put your C-Isam tables in one directory, the SE-database tables in another and create links between them. In that case all you need to do when you rebuild a table in the SE-database is to recreate the link to the appropriate file in your C-Isam directory.
