>>I would be interested what you thought about Hyperscript Tools for Windows? This has ODBC support for Informix and seems to me would be the ideal environment for your requirements. Regards.. -vlod<< HyperScript Tools does not use ODBC to talk to Informix databases, it connects directly to INet without the ODBC overhead. I believe that Informix no longer offers HS Tools. It has, instead, licensed the product to a company in England whose name escapes me (perhaps something like IISI?). I worked quite a bit with HST and its predecessor, WingZ. One problem with the tool is that it is very weak if you intend to code data entry applications. For data display (DSS, reporting, etc) applications, it can be powerful but, it is by no means a strong general purpose GUI tool. -- Benjamin Taub Dataspace Incorporated, Ann Arbor, MI, USA PH: (313) 761-5962 FAX: (313) 761-5967
