Help! Okay, here is the scenario.... I have Informix SE ver 5.01 along with I-Net for Windows NT (the NT versions of both products). I also have the Intersolv 32-bit ODBC driver for Informix 5 as well. I am able to connect to the database with ILogin (i.e. the stores database). I created a user on my NT box called INFORMIX, which I use to connect to the database. In SetNet, I have the hostname, username, service name (sqlexecd) and protocolname (LOCALCON). If I change the protocolname to tcp-ip, I receive error -932 (WSAECONNREFUSED). Using something such as MS-Query or MS-Access produces the errors: Database not found or no system permission. No such file or directory. I have tried a number of different things, such as specifying LOCALCON for the ODBC driver, tcp-ip, etc. I have added environment variables for DBPATH and INFORMIXDIR. So far, Intersolv has been unable to provide an answer, or even a clue as to where to go next. Any ideas, suggestions and/or help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Martin LaHiff
