Re: free up disk space

Thank for all the replies to my previous question. Following is some further information: 1. The application must continuously be running. It is using regular cursors and execute several prepared SQLs on the table that is altered. I should say that those prepared SQL statement are the bigger problem. There are insert, update, delete SQL statements. Error -710 was got. 2. A bigger extents is a solution and I did allocate very big extent to the table(18000kb per extent). But since the amount of data is vary, the table is usually take up three extents. I donot know if there is any limit or disadvantage to do that? Thank again! --Wendy
