Multi-process V.S. single-process

Hi, This is not directly related to informix products, but it raises a question concerning a design issue for a report batch processing system using an Informix SE 7.10 DB on a Sco/Intel server with 2 CPU. Our team had an argument over which is the best way to go for a night batch processing system: A) Starting multiple reports at once using a driver report that will issue multiple fglgo commands (with the RUN ... WITHOUT WAITING command). B) Starting one report at a time using a driver report that will issue one fglgo at a time, waiting until the end of execution before starting another (with the RUN ... command). Which option would be the less time consuming and the most efficient, considering our hardware and software ? Also take into account that these are all reports that only do selects, no inserts deletes or updates.
