HewlettPackard XP 256

I've seen article about RAID 5 and Informix goes very bad, and i have question: did anyone have experience with Hewlett Packard XP 256 and RAID 5 and Informix? How are they working together? We have XP256 and RAID 1, and our local HP service said that with RAID 5 we will make 30 % better performance. Disks in XP256 are used only for informix 7.31 databases on HPUX 11.0 (V2500) databases size ~200GB Adam
I'd bet that RAID10 will give you 50% better performance than RAID5 and
100% more safety for your data.
