Lunch provided by IBM * Whats new in ServerStudion for Informix IDS - Lester Knutsen, Afternoon * Informix/DB2 as a WebSphere Web Service by Mike Chaney, Chainlink This presentation will explore using the out of the box, web service capabilities within DB2/Informix. These capabilities will be extended by utilizing the tools within Rational Application Developer (RAD) to build and deploy web services to WebSphere Application Server (WAS). Tables, queries and stored procedures can be extended through loosely coupled web services by using the Web Services Object Runtime Framework (WORF) included, out of the box with Informix and DB2.
