Hi Albert ! What about INFORMIXSERVER ? Did you configure the type of connection ? Did you check the release notes, to see what kind of kernel parameters must be reconfigured in the /etc/system? I think you should receive a training. Unfortunately I don't have any training on Informix, and it looks like I'm missing manuals. I have the software installed, but when I try to initiate the database with the 'oninit -i' command, I get the error: Cannot find message file. Check INFORMIXDIR and DBLANG. Both of these are set: INFORMIXDIR=/usr/informixDBLANG=/usr/informix/msg Does anyone have an suggestions/solutions for me? If so it would be GREATLY appreciated.
