I couldn't help but notice the following line in your logfile
08:16:22 dynamically allocated new shared memory segment (size 8388608)
How many extra shared memory segments are allocated within a given week?
I'm not sure how that would affect performance on UnixWare, but in the HP
world, I tend to eliminate them (increase SHMVIRTSIZE) wherever possible.
