Below is some example 4GL code. This piece of code is part of a live system which used to run under UNIX and now runs under NT with Dynamic 4GL. As you see, ASCII 27 is the key... LET out_string = ASCII 27, "*p30x", current_y, "Y", item_no USING "&&#", ASCII 27, "*p180x", current_y, "Y", t_rec.netchange USING "----#", ASCII 27, "*p420x", current_y, "Y", t_rec.part_numb CLIPPED, ASCII 27, "*p900x", current_y, "Y", tmp_desc CLIPPED ... and of course you then send out_string to the printer.
