Re: getting IDS 2000 running on RH 6.2

no. Here's my sqlhosts file, in /opt/informix/sqlhhosts (according to
docs, no need to set env. vars)

# COME BACK: only configured for apps running on 1 machine
# for other machines: need to put a service in /etc/services
# do we need another entry in /etc/hosts?
idsserver onipcshm hostname idsserver
Where idsserver is the name of my INFORMIXSERVER (also the
DBSERVERNAME in onconfig) and hostname is a name in my /etc/hosts
file (names changed to protect the innocent :-). Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
thanks,
