IDS.2000 (9.21) and Veritas NetBackup

Hi All... Since Legato NwtWorker does not support IDS.2000 (9.2x) and has no firm plans or schedule to do so, we are takink a look at NetBackup. According to the Veritas documentation, NetBackup supports 9.20. Does anyone have experience with linking 9.21 to NetBackup? tnx....

I am using Netbackup on Solaris 2.6 with Informix versions 7.31, 9.20 and 9.21. It works fine with all three. Hi, We encountered restore problem. After 5 month of complain to Netbackup, we finaly had a patch. Now restore are going fine. The best thing would be to change you backup software. Netbackup sux !!! And it seems it will not be supported by Informix for next releases...
