replication of 2 Linux-engines

Hi all,
I have a problem with replicating two linux-boxes (Red Hat).
The servers are indentical (all files and locations...).
I make (I think so) all right, like discribed in the manual:
1.)
"ontape -s"
and "onmode -d primary on_ifx3"
on the primary server (=on_ifx2)
2.)
"ontape -p"
and "onmode -d secondary on_ifx2" on the secondary (=on_ifx3)
The logfiles tell me, that a failure-recovery is in progress,
onmonitor say "on" in the field state (of data-replication) on both
servers, the secondary is "read-only(sec)".
After about two minutes in the secondary's logfile online.log I can read
"Checkpoint record not Found in logical log". After this, the state of
secondary goes "off". But no other error-messages are shown.
An other problem is, that the primary is read-only (it seems so), I can
not change any
values in the tables, but a connect of the sever is possible.
Have anybody experiences in replicating two linux-boxes an can help me ?
Thank you !
Adi

This is true with ER on the original release on the Linux platform, but not on the I2000 version. (i.e. 9.2). ER should work on the I2000 release on Linux.
