Access suffers from it as well, and I think it's an attempt to get low level development done with a minimum of pain. The trouble is, of course, that there is no such thing as low level development. Two weeks after implementation the requests for improvements come so thick and fast that you're always better off starting with greater complexity in mind....IMHO. In any case, there are far better Rapid Application Generators out there for the smaller stuff than either of the MS products, its just that the bllody things are so f*****g cheap!!
