on-line 5.08 system page bad date

Hi, I have an old version of informix (Version 5.08.UD1) running on UNIX (IRIX) which appears to have bad dates in the system pages when I do "tbcheck -pr". This same problem appears on an in-service system which appears to be working correctly otherwise. Is this a known problem and any help on decoding the timestamp appreciated? Validating INFORMIX-OnLine reserved pages - PAGE_1DBSP & PAGE_2DBSP Using dbspace page PAGE_1DBSP. DBSpace number 1 Flags 1 No mirror chunks First chunk 1 Number of chunks 1 Date/Time created 05/26/10 02:01:06 # This date seems to be incorrect. Should be 05/26/03 DBSpace name rootdbs DBSpace owner informix Log file number 6 Log file flags 5 Log file in use Logfile has been backed up Time stamp 2077674 Date/Time file filled 05/26/10 23:17:40 Unique identifier 6 Physical location 101c63 Log size 750 Number pages used 750 Thanks in advance Ted Breen 27-MAY-2003

Well, since 5.08 was obsolete when 2000-01-01 arrived, I'm not sure whether it is a known problem, but it might well fit into the class of known problems that rendered it obsolete. > Validating INFORMIX-OnLine reserved pages - PAGE_1DBSP & PAGE_2DBSP > Using dbspace page PAGE_1DBSP. > > DBSpace number 1 > Flags 1 No mirror chunks > First chunk 1 > Number of chunks 1 > Date/Time created 05/26/10 02:01:06 # This date > seems to be incorrect. I'll grant you 2010 is more plausible, but it certainly isn't the only possibility. > Log file number 6 > Log file flags 5 Log file in use > Logfile has been backed up > Time stamp 2077674 > Date/Time file filled 05/26/10 23:17:40 > Unique identifier 6 > Physical location 101c63 > Log size 750 > Number pages used 750 > > Thanks in advance > Ted Breen > 27-MAY-2003 The main problems with the versions of OnLine prior to 5.10 (the ones which are not Y2K-compliant) are in areas related to archive and restore and things like timestamps. I noticed a post below this one "Startup of informix 7.2 database fails - Physical log" with the same date problem. I was under the impression that 5.08 was Y2K compliant and will do some checking as our system was tested for Y2K. Ted Breen 27-May-2003
