I'm sorry to pick nits with someone who has just been so gracious, but the
problem with onstat -g sql is that it doesn't on some plaforms and some
releases show the last parsed SQL. It will still show the currently active
SQL. (And with values to plug in the placeholders! Hurrah!)

I don't know what I could have contributed that "Noons" hasn't, apart from
charm, grace, style, wit, good looks ... ah.
(The lovely thing about the internet is, you can grab a similar name from
a different ISP, swipe someone's .sig from thousands of posts, freely
available, and everyone will believe you're the same person. :o)
