List tables in dbspace through sysmaster query
Hi, I'm trying to find a way to list the tables located in a dbspace through a query against the sysmaster db. I'm sure it's possible, but I can't find a table in sysmaster containing the table to dbspace mapping. Anyone know how to list the tables in a specific dbspace through a query against the sysmaster database? Thanks, Jeff P.S. I am using informix 7.31UC5, I'm not sure if it matters.
Try this SQL:
database sysmaster;
select dbinfo( "DBSPACE" , pe_partnum ) dbspace,
dbsname[1,10],
tabname
from sysptnext, outer systabnames
where pe_partnum = partnum
order by dbspace;
