The explain output is by nature generated by the server so it has to write it to some location it has access to. The only thing I could think of is to set up some file sharing from the AIX server to the PC. How to get the server to write to such a directory is another question, and I have a fealing it would be hard if at all possible. Setting up file sharing the other way is easy however (Samba is one solution) so you could access the file from the PC easily.
