Good Morning,
IDS 11.50.FC5
O/S AIX 5.3
I have successfully archived and restores a small test instance using openssl
for encryption from the command line using cats and pipes. When I attempted to
use the onconfig parameter BACKUP_FILTER, I got weird open ssl errors
openssl:Error: '2' is
an invalid command.
I am "assuming" that this is because I have my filter name followed by the
parameters. IE...BACKUP_FILTER openssl enc -aes-256-cbc -pass pass:anything
My question, is anyone using openssl as a backup filter and if so, how are you
handling the paramters?
TIA,
Dan

Okay, this was a lot easier than I made it. All you gotta do is place your
entire string for both your BACKUP_FILTER & RESTORE_FILTER parameters inside a
set of single quotes.
