I've never had serious problems with any Unix, with the exception on SCO and that was only with the MPX extensions. I've used and administered them all execpet HP, but I grew up with SunOS and have always liked Sun, so it is my platform of choice. And since it's one of the primary ports for Informix (HB-UX is the other) that also strikes me as a pretty good reason for using it for Informix. Surfer!
